What is a Hunt Test?
A Hunt Test is a standard, "Real-World" test of your dog's capabilities in a hunting environment.
Dogs are tested on various abilities you will need in the field--obedience to commands; ability to mark the fall of a bird, and then find and return it to your hand; ability to focus on the job at hand, in spite of distractions and obstacles, etc. See our Training pages for more details about the skills required.
